What's the human purpose?
Well guys, have you ever wondered what's the purpose of your life? You might say-'well, who said there is any?' And there's nothing wrong in it. it's only we who tend to think what's our purpose and indeed, logically we are just animals inhabiting this planet studded with millions of amazing life forms like us.
That being said, there's nothing wrong in pondering about what should be the basic purpose of a human life? This is kind of a motivation for this blog. I am writing this as a basic start-up of ideas that guided me to create this. Obviously, i am not generalizing this for everyone to follow but I want you to give a thought about it. The answer to this question lies in the word human itself. Why are we humans so so distinct from other animals in our present condition? That's only because of our relatively more advanced brains. It's said our brains differ from those of the chimps by a small percentage, and that small percent has made all this difference. Now it's true that our brain has similarities to other animals' brains in fulfilling the most basic of functions-finding food, mate and so on; but the qualities that set us far apart- inquisitiveness, questioning and reasoning are essentially the features that differentiate us.
So when we inquire about our purpose, it's only reasonable we should think from the 'human' perspective. And going by that, in my opinion, engaging in critical thinking seems to be one of the most important duties for a man. Sure we have to perform basic functions like finding a job, a mate, or anything that helps to live us better, but keeping ourselves limited to that is 'humanly poor'. If we do not seek knowledge and reason and do things without analyzing them from our point of view, I consider it an abuse of the human brain. I am not asking you all to be Einstein, but I want to culminate a basic sense of thinking guided by logic and reason( and not absurd faiths and inferences) in assessing your daily life, activities and well, almost anything. What one thinks is one's personal choice, you can think about anything, you can discuss, culminate and speak about almost anything(as long as you don't harm others, but that's a separate issue of course) you want. That you think is important. Our civilization has progressed so much only because a small but significant percentage of us have always thought more than the others, on things not thought about until then, and out-of-the-box. It does not imply you have to think about inventing something or a new creative idea, you just have to think whatever bothers you at your level, however insignificant that might be to the whole of mankind. You should know that knowledge is never bad, whatever it and its source might be. Its implementation might be unhealthy. So think, act and enjoy a life blessed with a human psyche.
Think about life from your window of reality and understanding, and if possible, make others know about your views. Remember, at any point of time, the amount of information physically contained on our planet is increasing. The more you add to it, the more ideas mankind will get, and the more we will understand ourselves and progress further.
